    Get the app.

    Open x.ai/bot on your computer. Tap the download for Windows. Wait until it finishes. Then open Grok Bot.

  2. 02

    Sign in.

    Tap Sign in. Use the Grok login you already have. If you do not have one yet, that page will help you make one. There is no second password just for Grok Bot.

  3. 03

    Say hello to the helper that is already there.

    After you sign in, a helper named Grok Bot is waiting. You do not build a team today. You talk to this one.

  4. 04

    Give it one small job.

    Type this, then tap send. Change the name to your own name.

    My name is Casey. Please talk to me in short, simple words. Remember that.

  5. 05

    Try one safe job.

    Put a short note or a photo of a letter in the chat. Then type this. Read the answer. If it is wrong, say so. You are still the boss.

    Tell me the important parts in five short lines. Do not change my file. Do not send anything.
